Townsend Earns All State Honors for Track

On Saturday the individuals that qualified for the state track meet traveled to Zeeland for the state competition.  Freeland sent 7 individuals to the meet.  On the boys side, Zack Townsend earned all state honors by finishing in 5th place with a time of 15.21.  With that finish, Zack earned 2nd team all state honors.

HS Track Attends Hawks Last Chance Meet

On Wednesday, May 17 members of our HS track teams traveled to Heritage for the Hawks Last Chance Meet.  The Men’s team captured first place by scoring 146 points, while the girl’s team captured 55 points and finished in 4th place.  The Falcons had many good performances in the meet.  Please visit to view

Track Teams Win Conference Duals

Freeland’s high school track teams traveled to Swan Valley for a conference double dual meet with Shepherd.  The teams came away with each winning both dual matches.  Both the boy’s and girl’s teams remain undefeated in conference match ups.  Freeland will host Bullock Creek and Standish Sterling next Wednesday for their next conference match ups.

Track Competes In Frankenmuth

The varsity track teams traveled to Carrollton High School on Wednesday to open conference competition.  Both teams came a way with victories.  The girls ran away with their meet winning 104 to 28.  The competition in the boys meet was closer, but the boys came away with a 87-50 win.  There were many good performances,

Track Teams Host St. Charles and Garber

On Tuesday, 4-11-17, our varsity track teams hosted a TVC Crossover Tri-Meet.
