“Freeland varsity Pompon competed at the Mid American State championship on Sunday, February 9th.  The team worked very hard during the season.  The hard work paid off, as they in third place for the Class B State Finals.”

Bowling Recap – 2-8-20

Both bowling teams traveled to Crooked Creek this past Saturday for a Jamboree hosted by Swan Valley. The boys lost 29-1 to Frankenmuth before falling to Garber by a score of 7-23. Last night the 8th Grade Boys Basketball teams hosted the Eagles from Frankenmuth. The White team won 36-22 and improved their record to 3-1. FNV Wins Two Big Games

Friday- Evan Dubuque scored the only goal through the first 45 minutes of the game, with an assist from Connor Dvorak. Davison’s Matt Dejonghe tied the game up with 6:16 left. Dvorak scored the game winning Power-Play goal with 36 seconds left off an Aidan West rebound, while Brendan Maly picked up the other assist.

Harvey Honored at Cheer Invitational

Our Varsity cheer team hosted it’s annual cheer invitational this past Saturday.  28 different team competed in the invitational, which included Middle School, JV and Varsity teams.  The Freeland Middle School team finished second in their division, while our varsity team finished fourth in the Big 3 division.  When the competition ended, and before final

The JV Girls Basketball team kept their winning streak alive with wins over Heritage and Swan Valley this week. 8th Grade Boys Basketball Defeat SSC

Last night the 8th grade boys basketball team defeated the Panthers from Standish 65-37 to stay undefeated at 6-0. Wyatt Vondette had 14 points, Daniel Duley had 11 points, Ben Barringer had 9 points, Brayden Kelly and Sam Talaga each had 8 points. The boys will be home on Monday to take on the Eagles

9th Grade Girls Basketball Defeats Heritage

Freshman girls rolled by Heritage last night with a 56-32 victory.  Zoey Markey had a season-high 20 points, including 4 threes. Catherine Muller had a season-high 13 points.
