MS Wrestling Finishes Strong

Freeland Middle School wrestlers finished the middle school season with 10 place winners at the Tri-Valley Conference.   Freeland placed a wrestler in every weight class they entered. Spence Cottrell, Cole Fournier, and Wilson Longenecker finish the season with undefeated records.  Cole Fournier also finished the season without being scored upon.  Great job boys! All 10

JV Boys Travel To Alma

The JV Boys basketball team won their first road contest against Alma by a 63-49 score.  The Falcons prevailed in a tough and physical game against a determined Alma team.  Nine different Falcons scored as the team received contributions up an down the roster.  Jaden DeBeau led the Falcons with 15 points and 6 assists. 

JV Girls Host Chesaning

Freeland JV Girls took on visiting Chesaning on Monday.  Chesaning took an early lead but the girls battled back to take a 13 to 11 first quarter lead. Kirsten Spegel and Karly Black lead the way with 4 points each in the quarter. Freeland girls picked up the pace in the second quarter. Mae Barringer

JV Boys Basketball Wins

The JV boys basketball team defeated Chesaning by a score of 45-34.  The Falcon’s struggled with turnovers, but were still able to pull of the victory.  Big first and fourth quarters were the key to the game in this contest.  Breyden Vasold paced the Falcons with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.  Jaden DeBeau

Middle School Wrestling Finishes Season Strong

Freeland Middle School Wrestlers finish their regular season with two more victories.  Freeland defeated both Garber Middle School and St. Louis Middle School Tuesday night. Middle School Wrestling Impresses Caro with BIG Wins

The Freeland Middle School wrestlers competed at the Caro Invitational this weekend where they proved to be the top team.  Freeland placed 16 wrestlers in the top 4 and amassed over 20 pins.  Freeland sent 8 wrestlers to the finals and crowned 6 champions.  There were two 14 second pins by Spence Cottrell and Joey
