7th Grade Girls Win

The 7th grade girls basketball team beat Pinconning last night with a score of 39-8.  Evelyn Rybicki and Elizabeth Ellis each led the team in scoring with 8 points a piece.  Haven Vasold added 6 points and Amanda Sanchez chipped in 4.  The girls next game is tomorrow at home vs. Carrollton.

A strong defensive effort led the Freshman girls to a 50-13 win over Gladwin, in which 7 different players scored. In the first half, Hope Kloha had 5 steals to lead the defensive charge en route to a 23-1 halftime score. Molly Hemgesberg had a team high 8 steals to go with her 14 points.

JV Girls Travel To Bay City Western

Freeland JV girls hit the road on Monday to face off against Bay City Western. The game was very competitive right from the beginning.  Both teams had trouble finding offense as the score was ties 5 to 5 after the first quarter.
