The Freeland girls volleyball team went 3-0 Wednesday night against Merrill, Bullock Creek, and Sanford Meridian.
The Falcons did not drop a single set as they opened with a 25-110, 25-16 win over Meridian. Bullock Creek was the next victim of the 25-5, 25-21 decision.
The final match-up pitted the Falcons against the 7th ranked Division 4 Merrill Vandals. In the toughest match of the night, Freeland avenged their only loss of the season with a 25-19, 25-22 win.
Freeland was lead by Caitlinn Pistro with 25 kills, and 14 digs, Elli Howard with 18 kills, Leiya Rybicki added 8 aces and 40 assists. Caroline Talaga and Kadyn Blanchard had 3 blocks apiece and Kayla  Irrer lead the team in digs with 15.
The Falcons improve their record to 10-1 and play next on Wednesday, September 11 as they host another quad match against Ogemaw Heights, Essexville Garber, and Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart.
