Hemlock Track Classic Write Up
The boys and girls varsity squads traveled to Hemlock Friday to compete at Hemlock’s invitational. The Falcons took full advantage of some of the best weather they have had all season long. The teams combined for 29 personal records and 5 season best marks. The boys team finished 4th overall and the girls finished 3rd overall in their respective divisions. Earning medals were the following athletes; Trent Hulbert 5th in 200 dash, Gage Fitzgerald 4th in the 400 dash, Darren Bila 3rd in the 1600 run, Jacob Wurtzel 5th in the 3200 run, Keaton Knochel 2nd in the 110 hurdles, Easton Armstrong 3rd in the 110 hurdles, Keaton Knochel 4th in the 300 hurdles, Easton Armstrong 5th in the 300 hurdles, 4×400 relay 1st with a team of Gage Fitzgerald, Alex Robins, Jack Townsend, Trent Hulbert, Vinny Kowalski 6th place in discus, Alex Robins 2nd in High Jump, Taylor Armbruster 4th in Pole Vault, Jack Townsend 2nd in Long Jump, and Noah Klopf 3rd in Long Jump. The girls brining home medals were; Caitlinn Pistro 4th 100 dash, Peyton Hansen 5th 800 run, Whitney Farrell 6th 800 run, Kiera Hansen 2nd 1600 run, Lawson Brady 6th in 1600 run, Kiera Hansen 1st 3200 run, Madison O’Deay 3rd 3200 run, Lawson Brady 5th place in the 3200 run, Abby Youngstrom 1st in the 100 hurdles, Abby Youngstrom 1st in 300 hurdles, 4×800 relay 3rd place with a team of Whitney Farrell, Kiera Hansen, Alyssa Graham, and Peyton Hansen, Kirsten Spegel 2nd in shot put, Kaela Gregory 1st place high jump, and Caitlyn Mieske 2nd place long jump. Next up. Our sub-varsity travels to Heritage on Wednesday for their invitational. Our varsity squads will head to Chip Hills on Friday for the MHSAA DII regional. Wish our Falcons luck
