The Freeland middle school wrestling team was battle tough tonight.  Freeland took on Alma, the 2016 TVC champs.   It was an even split with both Freeland and Alma each winning seven matches.   Freeland saw some new talent emerge from new comers Cayden Remainder, Conrad Shultz, Caleb Davies, and Kellen Brandi.  Assistant coach Nevels was impressed with the toughness of these new wrestlers and is excited about their future.  Cayden Remainder looked impressive with a 17-0 victory.  One fan stated, “He is a lot fun to watch.” Coach Rosebush agrees.
